DESCRIPTION:Kelly Garcia is an artist and designer with a passion for capturing the joy of flowers and nature! As a former floral designer\, she is inspired to interpret nature in her paintings using lively brushstrokes and vibrant color. She wants her work to ignite something happy and alive in the viewer.\n\nShe draws inspiration from Impressionism\, Abstract Expressionism and her dynamic faith. She happily paints and designs with her studio cat\, Violet\, by her side.\n\nKelly studied Painting & Drawing at the University of Wisconsin where she received a Studio Art degree. She also studied Floral Design and Graphic Design as part of her art background. Over her 20 year professional art career\, she was owner of a storefront studio/gallery\, taught art classes at local art organizations\, was commissioned to paint mural projects and showed artwork in numerous exhibitions/shows.\n\nCurrently\, her fine art paintings focus on florals and her love of the beach! She also creates digital surface and pattern design artwork.\n\n\n\nThe artist will be demonstrating at the CCC on Tuesdays and Thursdays\, January 4\, 9\, 11\, 16\, 18\, 23\, 25\, 30:  10 am-12 pm.
