He later transcended the confines of headlines and deadlines to become a revered Wisconsin artist. This exhibition celebrates the fusion of storytelling and artistic expression\, showcasing the remarkable career shift of an artist who embraced a new realm of creative freedom. \n\n\n\nA joint opening reception for "Show & Tell: Six Wisconsin Children's Book Illustrators" and "From Journal to Cedarburg" will be held on Saturday\, January 20th from 2 to 6pm. Curator Samantha Michalski will hold a talk at 3:30pm for "From Journal to Cedarburg". At 4:00pm "Show & Tell" illustrators will be speaking. These exhibitions are supported by the National Endowment for the Arts and Wisconsin Arts Board.
