DESCRIPTION:The illustrations of children's books are the first artworks we are exposed to. They stir imagination\, color our dreams\, bond us with those we share them with\, and even teach us life lessons. In "Show & Tell: Six Wisconsin Children's Book Illustrators"\, the Cedarburg Art Museum will feature the original illustrations of six exceptional children's book illustrators Renee Graef\, Francisco Mora\, Aaron Boyd\, Bonnie Leick\, Sherry Luhman\, and Lois Ehlert.\n\n\n\nA joint opening reception for "Show & Tell: Six Wisconsin Children's Book Illustrators" and "From Journal to Cedarburg" will be held on Saturday\, January 20th from 2 to 6pm. Curator Samantha Michalski will hold a talk at 3:30pm for "From Journal to Cedarburg". At 4:00pm "Show & Tell" illustrators will be speaking. These exhibitions are supported by the National Endowment for the Arts and Wisconsin Arts Board.
